Slavery is not technically illegal in the domain of the wooded cities but it is heavily regulated and pretty rare. The only slaveholding families are the oldest families of nobles and they only have a small collection of household servants per family. This certainly was not always the case; they were very heavily into the slave trade several centuries ago before Codzenjod was able to take so much power by inciting slave revolts.
