The only way to become a vampire is to sacrifice a child, collect their blood, mix it with vikdźenti venom, and drink it while praying to $EVIL_GOD. As a side effect, the venom attacks their vocal chords and throat, causing them pain if they are left dry and making their voices raspy and weak.
